The covid-19 pandemic across the world put extreme pressure on the economy and health system across the world. Presently, the crisis due to the US backing their military from Afghanistan, the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Humanitarian and Health crisis in Libya, Syria, and Yemen requires immediate food, health, and economic support from international actors. A similar situation kind of humanitarian crisis is also noticed in Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Venezuela, etc. However, due to political interest, the international media attention is mainly on the Ukrainian crisis. Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus a former minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia and head of World Health Organizations (WHO) criticized the global community for not giving equal consideration to a similar kind of humanitarian crisis. Even though, he criticized that while the evacuation process from Ukraine and seeking refugees asylum in Europe, people belonging to Africa, South Asia, and the Middle East living in Ukraine face racial discrimination. Issues such as trafficking/modern slavery, sexual exploitation, prostitution, discrimination, hatred, etc. are also common with refugee people. The purpose of this session is to discuss why the international actors (members of the United Nations) are responsible for the protection and promotion of human rights and global justice across the world, rather to cooperate for the humanitarian interest involved to fulfill political interests. Due to a lack of humanitarian interest, not only have war and conflict become common among countries but it is affecting mass migration and creating a refugee crisis all over the world.
