To assess global realignments, consider what directions nations or groups of nations take, what stories nations are telling, whether stories make sense, whether they are divisive or integrative, whether they fold in or out, how they work out in implementation and delivery. Global realignments are multidirectional.

We were in a ‘post-American world’ but now, in a remarkable turnaround, since 2/24/22 the US is back. The US dominates, but does it integrate? UN General Assembly condemns the Ukraine invasion 141 out of 193. More than half the world doesn’t support ‘the West’ and does not reject Russia. Many expect more future from Greater Asia than from the US. But they have little soft power.
