Higher education is not free from caste in the South Asian Society. There is evidence of higher education attached to caste, social psyche, and humiliation in the social interaction process. The culture of humiliation and its contestation of South Asian experience in social reciprocation and social psychology runs through the societal relation called stratification of caste. Taking evidence from these, this session will discourse on explaining justice in an institutional context over liberation from the social psyche. It will engage with justice at higher education, discussing both concepts and field-based knowledge on freedom from caste and psycho-social relations. It will further investigate how caste connects to social behaviour and humiliation at higher education. The discourses will focus on caste experiences theorising culture, justice, social psychology, and freedom, within the framework of South Asian context. The main theme would remain to dialog on realities and theoretical arguments on caste, social psychology, and humiliation. Abstracts are invited within a word limit of 300 words. The present theme invites papers from the scholars, researchers, teaching professionals, policy makers, and practitioners who can throw light on this social interaction process, in contexts to higher education discussing the various psycho-social issues of caste in the South Asian sub-continent. Though not limited only to these geographical settings. As this can connect to the understanding of realities of this framework across global societies.
