Solidarity in Arts and Culture

How the arts and culture react to forms of social inequality, lack of democracy, or even gender issues. How does arts and culture can enact forms of deconstructive discourses in order to support, resist or challenge social discourses and state power? This session focuses on the different ways in which arts and culture expressions involve and confront social processes but also collective habits in order to foster reflexivity, resistance and awareness about emerging realities.
