The study of educational trajectories enables to identify in the students' paths the factors of the educational system and their vital environments that favor or, on the contrary, hinder learning, permanence and completion of educational levels. On the other hand, this approach allows the understanding of subjective decision-making processes and strategies that students develop to face the challenges of schooling. The COVID 19 pandemic strongly affected educational processes worldwide, through long periods of suspension of face-to-face classes and the implementation of hybrid teaching modalities. This process was accompanied, in turn, by changes in the regulations referring to transitions and interlevel passages. The impact of these processes was uneven, depending on the social sector considered. Thus, while certain groups were able to sustain schooling and learning, others were forced to interrupt or reformulate their educational paths.

This session welcomes qualitative and quantitative research papers on the reconfiguration of student trajectories in the context of the pandemic and post-pandemic (with a particular focus on interlevel transitions) and its consequences in terms of social and educational inequalities. We are particularly interested in presentations that discuss the new challenges and possibilities that students have faced in relation with educational policies and changes in regulations during the pandemic and post-pandemic.
