This session welcomes social movements’ researchers worldwide to contribute to the understanding of the effects of insurgent authoritarianism and religion with their interrelationship with politics and economic power on the mobilization of women feminist issues around the world. Today, social movements are focal actors in different parts of the world and actively participate in the renascent civil society after pandemic. We invite to present theoretically driven or empirically grounded papers addressing the above main topics.
