The issue of poverty has occupied and worried the global order for many decades. Various authors refer to the ways of identifying the poor, the conditions under which they live in poverty the people, and the relationship between the concept of poverty and the non-poverty. In recent decades and even after the Covid-19 pandemic, poverty and inequality have increased worldwide. In these contexts, every day you can observe individual subjects, and neighborhoods, that are mobilized out of love in the search for justice, for the improvement of the living conditions of others, etc. This is how mothers whose children were victims of human trafficking and drug trafficking are identified and, together with other mothers and also the community, organized to find their children. Neighbors go out in search of food donations and organize a community pot for other neighbors who cannot “eat.” From here this session calls for the discussion on social love and solidarity in contexts of poverty based on the presentation of papers within the TG12
