Sociology, Political Science, and Immigration Studies

This paper explores the relationship between sociology and politicial science in immigration studies.  It does so by asking three questions: (1) why has there been so little interdisciplinary dialogue in the past; (2) what has been done to remedy this fact in recent years: and (3) what are the potential benefits of increased interdisciplinarity?
