“Worlds of Paper”: Bureaucracies and Everyday Life within Public and Private Institutions - “Mundos De Papel”: Burocracias y Cotidianeidad En Instituciones Públicas y Privadas

This session focuses on those IE (institutional ethnography) investigations that explore from a holistic perspective the two dimensions ruling institutions in the public sector (local, national and international agencies) as well as in the private sector (national and multinational companies, NGOs, clubs, foundations, among others), that govern them: the rules controlled and regulated by their bureaucracies and imposed on outsiders as well as the uses and practices present in their daily life. 
We invite you to submit papers that provide an innovative view regarding the studies of these institutions and their bureaucracies, based on the exploration of these dimensions materialized in the regulations that make up their legal framework and in their daily routines.

Esta sesión se focaliza en aquellas EI que exploran en instituciones tanto del sector público (organismos locales, nacionales y supranacionales) como privado (empresas nacionales y multinacionales, ONGs, clubes, fundaciones, entre otras) desde una perspectiva holística las dos dimensiones que las rigen: aquellas normas regladas y controladas por sus burocracias e impuestas a foráneos, así como los usos y costumbres presentes en sus rutinas diarias.  
Invitamos a la presentación de trabajos que aporten una mirada novedosa respecto a los estudios de estas instituciones y de sus burocracias, a partir de la exploración de estas dimensiones materializadas tanto en las reglamentaciones que constituyen su estructura legal como en las acciones de la vida cotidiana.  Posters:
