Abstract: The Industrial revolution of 19th century in European countries leads to industrial development of the world. It transforms agrarian society into industrial society. Industrial revolution impact people way of living and worked. It leads to invention of new machinery and scientific technique in people life. The work of people transform from rural work to industrial labor. The concentration of people in industrial area grows highly developed urban areas and slum areas as well in society. These areas produce large amount of urban waste, create environmental pollution and landfill areas. The concentration of large amount of waste in different parts of cities leads to environmental pollution. The waste disposal management is alarming in many cities. People habits to throw trash in roadside areas enlarge landfill areas. The garbage collection, transfer and recycle need proper monitoring which many time lacking by disposal management. There are lots of causes because of that garbage disposal problem is alarming such as people habits, improper treatment, and natural calamities. It can be treated with adopting suitable technologies as well as by establishing it as industry. The article contains an overview towards waste disposal problem, its causes and possible remedies to reduce it. The methodology of the study based on primary as well as secondary data. Primary data helps to get real overview of the problem and secondary data helps to acquire information regarding the problem with relevant material. The objective of the study is- To know industrial development, environmental pollution, waste disposal management and its possible remedies.
