Artificial intelligence has become an instrument that can lead to social services that are developed more efficiently, with the ability to resolve cases in less time, freeing professionals from routine and bureaucratic tasks. There is room for development to implement AI in Social Services that can help filter demand, assign appointments, automate reports, incorporate remote assistance and video visits and report on resources and match resources and needs. We are developing a project where we intend to research, design and prototype a demand triage system, a voice conversion system into reports, a chatbot to report on resources and an algorithm for matching resources-needs, as well as the implementation of remote assistance and video visits. The methodology to design these solutions will be based on the design and prototyping of services based on user experience. The combination of digital tools that will be tested and tried by end users. All of this aims to solve the problem of waiting lists and excessive bureaucracy, achieving more effective and efficient social services. Services that take into account the ethical challenges they address in their design, avoiding biases from their design. All of this can help to avoid claims and complaints from citizens due to waiting lists for care, excessive bureaucracy and misinformation. At the same time, AI applied to social services can free up their professionals to dedicate their time to serving citizens. This project aims to become a cutting-edge benchmark that can be scaled to different levels and extrapolated to other types of services.
