Currently, global society is in the Anthropocene period which is characterized by the capitalist mode of production with the working class vs. the bourgeoisie as the dominant social classes. One example in the world of education, the noble goal of educating people to have more democratic way of thinking is often just a dream. Education is widely used as a tool to maintain the legitimacy of capitalistic and oppressive power with high education costs, which are not affordably for the poor. This does not only happen in the world of education, but also in other social fields, economics, politics, culture, etc. The dominance of certain groups of people over other groups in various parts of the world occurs unavoidably, forming gaps that are getting bigger and faster. Is it still possible for justice to be felt by all levels of society without exception? What role can researchers, practitioners, etc. play in raising this issue in a social forum to produce thoughts and ideas that can be accepted for action globally? This phenomenon becomes important if the entire world community together agrees that the right to live properly belongs to every individual by improving the quality of life of disadvantaged groups.
