This session explores the synergies between the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the concept of Knowing Justice, and the principles of sociocybernetics. The SDGs provide a global framework for addressing critical issues such as poverty, inequality, environmental degradation, and climate change. Knowing Justice emphasizes the importance of inclusive, equitable, and participatory approaches to knowledge creation and dissemination. Sociocybernetics offers systems-based methodologies to understand and manage complex social-ecological systems. By integrating these three paradigms, the session aims to discuss conceptual and methodological challenges in applied social science for SDG implementation and And how theseframeworks can collaboratively address the global challenges of our time.

- Case studies on inclusive policies and practices in achieving SDG targets.
- Engaging citizens in the decision-making processes for sustainable development.
- Collaborative frameworks that bridge disciplines to address complex sustainability challenges.
- Building resilience through community-led initiatives and knowledge sharing.
- Sociocybernetic models for enhancing adaptive capacity in the face of environmental change and or natural hazards and risk management
- Addressing the digital divide to ensure equitable access to technology and information.
- Developing educational programs that promote sustainability and justice.
- Role of sociocybernetic in fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange for sustainable development
- SDG and Agenda 2030 challenges in rural and urban vulnerable areas
Papers welcome in English and French. They require handout support in order to facilitate the understanding of the contents among participants.
