This session aims to understand the conditions of work in various forms of digital labour and their impact on the daily lives and well-being of different categories of workers. From a sociological perspective, the panel discusses topics related to women's digital labour and its impact on the balance between personal and professional life (e.g., e-commerce), the precarious nature of digital labor in terms of working conditions and job instability (e.g., platforms specialized in delivery), and the necessity of digitalizing jobs for certain vulnerable populations working in sectors that face open market competition (e.g., cooperatives).

  2. The precariousness of digital work: Analyzing the instability and challenging working conditions in digital labor sectors, with a focus on platforms specialized in delivery.
  3. Digitalizing work for Vulnerable Populations: Investigating the necessity and impact of digitalizing jobs for vulnerable groups, especially in sectors facing open market competition, such as cooperatives.
