This table intend to debate the discourses of prohibition and surveillance that occur in today's societies, but also to be able to make comparative analyses, whether in geographical or historical terms. The discourses are powerful tools that can shape our understanding of social norms, individual freedoms, and the role of government. A critical analysis of these concepts is essential to ensure that they are used responsibly, ethically, and in a manner that respects human rights and democratic values. By carefully examining the justifications, effectiveness, and implications of prohibition and surveillance, we can strive for a society that balances security with individual liberties and privacy.
