The aim of this study is to present a new measure of evaluation of educational state at the national level. The index is based on a multidimensional model of indictors and it is an instrument developed to determine the students’ and teachers’ view of the education role in the process of life self-fulfillment in the context of a systemic and sociological approach: education as adaptation, education as self-regulation, education as self-organization and education as self-profession.
