Growth with Justice for Sustainable Development

Friday, 20 July 2018: 10:30-12:20
Location: 803A (MTCC SOUTH BUILDING)
RC46 Clinical Sociology (host committee)

Language: English

This session showcases scholarly works concerning social equity and equality. Market force is playing an enormous role in income distribution in most of the countries. Without governments’ effective re-distributive social policies, income distribution disparity and unequal access to social services would make a nation’s development unsustainable. Clinical Sociology scholars are bringing attention to this area of concern, and urge policymakers to pay attention to growth with justice.
