Age-Grade Gap, A Serious Brazilian Educacional Problem

Talking about education in Brazil leads us to some questions extremely important: inequality of opportunities - an element that segregates individuals at school and in society- inside a system that, based on hegemony, maintains a stable appearance, however destabilize lives when adopt the code of privileged social group, denying the basic individual rights to the unprivileged one, such as: literacy at the right age, access to reading, to knowledge, to an attractive and a good education, that corresponds to individual and group necessities, according to the realities where  different people are inserted, in order to avoid the continuation of an educational and a social very serious problem, created inside  school: age-grade gap. Besides some researches have shown Brazil has increased in registration for basic school and worked to correct school flow, we also know, considering our reality, that this kind of correction not always happens at an efficient form, this is, some individuals are promoted to a regular grade without basic knowledge, this is, most of them are functionally illiterate. So, we need to construct and project a non excluding Brazilian kind of school and educational policies, based on the ideas developed and worked by Paulo Freire: dialogue, popular knowledge and freedom.
