The session aims to bring into the discussion the need to assess the environmental, global and intergenerational consequences of decisions taken in the planning and implementation of policies towards older people. It reflects on the level of response to the challenge of governing realizing future scenarios.
Innovation in public policy and aging, to be responsible, must comply with the regulation, communicate the project and its purpose efficiently, make an anticipatory reflection of the potential applications and social impacts and, finally, create mechanisms to include stakeholders in the process.
La sesión pretende traer a la discusión la necesidad de dimensionar las consecuencias ambientales, globales e intergeneracionales de las decisiones tomadas en la planificación y ejecución de políticas orientadas hacia las personas mayores. Se intenta reflexionar sobre el nivel de respuesta al desafío de gobernar dando cuenta de los escenarios futuros.
La innovación en materia de políticas públicas y envejecimiento, para que sea responsable, debe cumplir la regulación, comunicar eficientemente el proyecto y su propósito, realizar una reflexión anticipatoria de las posibles aplicaciones y sus impactos sociales y, por último, articular mecanismos para incluir a los actores en el proceso.
