Oral Presentation
The main objective of this study is to analyze the relationship between public expenditures allocated to the education sector and the improvement of living conditions for the Brazilian population, considering the period from 2010 to 2022. For this purpose, data modeling will be used, such as Ordinary Least Squares estimation, Error Correction Model, and time series analysis to build an econometric model. The national-level data will be sourced from government portals and surveys, such as the Federal Court of Accounts, IBGE, and other public bodies and bibliographic references. The expected results should show a strong contribution of education expenditures to economic growth, as well as the competition between the education sector and other sectors in the efficient allocation of the state's financial resources.
