Abstract
In the era of digital economy, the rapid expansion and extensive application of information
technology provides exceptional opportunities for the integration of rural tourism. Precision
agriculture, propelled by AI and IoT, enhances productivity and resource efficiency, while
blockchain increases supply chain transparency and market accessibility. Fintech innovations
are bridging the financial inclusion gap, enhancing rural populations' access to credit and
digital payment systems. Renewable energy technologies are alleviating energy poverty,
stimulating local industrial growth, and enhancing environmental sustainability. The study
underscores the imperative of digital literacy, infrastructure, and supportive policies for
successful implementation. These technologies have considerable promise to empower rural
communities and promote inclusive, sustainable development. This paper explores how new-
age technologies such as AI, the Internet of Things (IoT), Blockchain, and Renewable Energy
are transforming the rural economy and fostering sustainable development.
