Rural Economy plays a vital role in the development of the nation. Most rural economies rely on traditional technologies and depend on agriculture and small-scale industries. There is a major gap between urban and rural areas. Digital connectivity has emerged as a revolution with an increase as internet penetration, better access of information, education, and markets. E-commerce platforms enable rural artisans and farmers to sell their products directly to consumers, bypassing intermediaries and increasing their profit margins.

Agriculture technologies, like precision agriculture, employ GPS, IoT, and data analysis to enhance plant production and the efficient use of resources. Drones and satellite imaging tools offer instant surveillance of plants, aiding growers in making educated choices and minimizing waste.

Financial technologies, or fintech, are also playing a crucial role. Mobile banking and digital payment systems are making financial services more accessible to rural populations, promoting financial inclusion and enabling small businesses to thrive.

In addition, renewable energy technologies such as solar and wind power provide rural areas with reliable and sustainable energy solutions, reducing dependence on traditional energy sources and increasing productivity.

In the present session, papers are invited in the area of new-age technologies fostering economic resilience, enhancing livelihoods, and contributing to the sustainable development of rural economies.
