Oral Presentation
This paper is addressed to describe the state of the affairs in the field of digitalized justice in Italy, on the basis of both the experiences referred to in the literature and those acquired by the author himself, as a practicing lawyer for decades. The author’s main point is, first, to draw attention to the innovations introduced in legal procedures and their actual impact, often diverging from the original projects and, second, to repropose the question of how far digitalized procedures can extend themselves in the administration of justice, with special reference to the effects of artificial intelligence upon judicial decisions.
