How to infuse into the 21st Century curriculum the forward-oriented skills needed to tackle the challenges of our time and seize the opportunities for creating a better world?  This workshop is explores how to teach sociological futures research. It is aimed at anyone interested in teaching a course on futures studies or integrating a future-oriented component into an extending course or program. Proposals for presentations are invited from sociologists and scholars of other disciplines (e.g. public policy, literary studies, rhetorical analysis), and may feature a range of concepts, methods, and issues.
